My name is Alison Crossling and I own First Steps Nursery (Lumley) Ltd. First Steps Nursery (Lumley) Ltd has been operating for just over 9 years, growing from strength to strength. I employ 7 full time staff members, who are all fully qualified in childcare and education, all hold paediatric First Aid certificates, 2 staff members (1 being myself) are qualified in Forest School teaching, and my Deputy is a qualified special educational needs coordinator. I have lived in Woodstone Village for almost 16 years, with my husband and 2 teenage children.

First Steps at Woodlea will cater for up to 24 children at a time. Activities will be provided around your child’s likes/ interests, for example- crafts, Lego, board games and outdoor games. A healthy breakfast of sugar free cereals and wholemeal toast will be available on a morning and a light snack like wraps, sandwiches and fresh fruit will be provided on an afternoon. I will be offering the following sessions to parents wishing to use the out of school care- £10.50 for breakfast club, 7:30am-8:50am. Includes breakfast £7 for breakfast club, 8am- 8.50am. Includes breakfast. £10.50 for after school, 3:15pm- 5.45pm. Includes high-tea. For bookings there are 2 options-
